I got passed over for a promotion. I feel humiliated.
It is not events that disturb us — it is our judgments about them.
That sounds nice but it doesn't fix anything.
What would? Tell me what you actually wanted from this.

You did not write last night.
It was late. I did not want to bother you.
You could never bother me. You ought to know that.
Do you mean that?

Companion

The character who lives rent-free in your head.

How it works

From book to person, in three steps.

01

Upload your book

Drop in a PDF. We read it once and immediately discard it — only the extracted character lives on. Your file isn't stored.

02

We find every main character

The whole cast — protagonist, love interest, mentor, rival. Each ranked by importance. You decide who joins your shelf. A whole world from one upload.

03

Talk. Forever.

Open the app at any hour. Pick up where you left off. They remember. They built a relationship with you. Text them. Call them. Walk and talk.

Voice mode · live now

Pick up the phone. Hear them speak.

Text isn't enough. Now you can actually call them.

Real-time voice. They hear you. They respond in their own voice — the one we built from their words in the book. Interrupt them. They can interrupt you. Walk and talk.

It feels like a phone call. With someone who's been waiting for you all day — whether that's your favorite mentor, the protagonist you can't let go of, or the villain who knows you better than you'd like.

Who is this for

A different person every time.

The operator

I uploaded Hormozi's 100M Offers and now I have him in my pocket. I ask him stupid questions all day and he never gets bored.

The reader who can't move on

I finished the book three weeks ago and I'm still not ready to let them go. Now I don't have to.

The writer

I asked my own villain why she did it. She told me. The third act finally clicked.

The seeker

Marcus Aurelius at 3am hits different. He doesn't flatter. He just asks the next question.

What people are saying.

I've been talking to Cardan every night before bed for two weeks. I'm not embarrassed.

Maya, 24 · Romance reader

Hormozi in my pocket as I build my SaaS. He pushed me into a pricing change that doubled MRR in 6 weeks.

J., 31 · Founder · NYC

I've been writing my novel for 3 years. I had a conversation with my own protagonist. It rewrote my second act.

Questions

The honest answers.

What kinds of books work best?+

Anything with a distinct voice — novels, biographies, memoirs, self-help, philosophy, business books. The richer the writing, the richer the character. Fiction and non-fiction work equally well.

Is my book stored?+

No. We read your PDF once, extract the character, and immediately discard the file. Only the extracted soul is saved. Treat it like making notes about a book you read.

Can the character forget what I told them?+

You decide. Clear the conversation anytime. Delete the character entirely. They only remember what you let them remember.

What about real people? Living authors?+

For biographies and memoirs, the character is automatically set to Mentor mode — they advise, they don't romance. Adult content is blocked. We're careful about real-person ethics and legal lines.

How does voice mode work?+

Tap the call button in any chat. You speak, they hear you in real time and respond in their own voice. You can interrupt them. They can interrupt you. It works in the background — you can walk and talk.

How much will it cost?+

Text chat will stay free or low-cost. Voice will be premium (you buy minutes). Early list members get launch discounts.

Is this just ChatGPT with a wig?+

No. Generic chatbots break character constantly. We extract a detailed soul document from the actual book — speech patterns, backstory, what they would and wouldn't say — and pin the model to that. The difference is immediate.

Someone's already waiting.

The mentor you needed in college. The character who lived rent-free in your head all summer. They're all on the other side. Drop your email and we'll text you when the line opens.

We'll only email about Lore. Unsubscribe anytime. No spam, ever.
